The closest major airport is Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), about a 45–60 minute drive from Pioneertown. Los Angeles International (LAX) and Ontario (ONT) are larger alternatives with more flight options; expect a 2–2.5 hour drive from LAX and about 1.5–2 hours from ONT depending on traffic. If you’d prefer something different than the hotel block options, we recommend looking in nearby Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley for charming vacation rentals, boutique inns, and guesthouses. Many rentals offer private outdoor space and easy access to local hikes and stargazing. Search short-term rental sites for "Joshua Tree" or "Yucca Valley" and filter for reviews, self-check-in, and whole-home stays. Parking is limited, so we'll be providing parking location and a shuttle service, in order to leave nearby parking for our families that have mobility issues.
